Ashfield Mactalla, born in Ireland 1990, brought over to England as a yearling by Misses Miller, Rosenharly Stud.  The Ashfield Lor Sparrow line is still well sought after in Ireland for their jumping ability.

"Mac" as he is known to his friends came to Cornwall to live in 1994 and has been with me ever since.  Mac enjoyed being ridden and liked nothing better than flying through the woods jumping any obstacle in his way. Mac's temperament and manners are unbeatable, and his confirmation and extravagant movement gives his youngstock an outstanding advantage.

Now he is a senior citizen, and he is very precious to me, his mares are restricted to a chosen few, and although he will cover mares in hand, he loves to run out with his mares and foals in the summer.                 STUD FEE:  £600 including VAT

Mac has sired many pure bred Connemaras and part breds that are doing well in the show ring, but most are making their mark eventing and show jumping - his greatest achievement being the home bred "Trewithian Bracken" who represented Great Britain in the Junior Event Team at Moorsele 2009.        I have a full brother, Trewithian Speedwell, just broken, who I am hoping will be taken on to follow in Bracken's footsteps
